Built by me, for you
Believe it or not, the Scorpius is very close in profile to a Fender Strat (TM). I include a nice Gator case with the Scorpius, but if you want to upgrade down the road, any of the custom Strat (TM) cases should fit your Scorpius. That's where the similarities stop. The Scorpius comes standard with a book matched neck, 25 inch scale length, and all premium components and hardware. You have multiple options available, most for no extra cost on every aspect of this guitar. Click on the link below to see the options. If having all these choices seems strange or confusing, I usually have the most popular options in stock or in progress.
The Scorpius is my original electric guitar. It had also been one of my best sellers, but I figured, hey, lets try to make it a little better. So now, we have Version 2 of the Scorpius.
Over the years, I've made hundreds of these guitars, and they usually go one of two ways, a cherry chambered body, pictured to the left, or a solid maple body, pictured to the right. The chambered cherry has awesome resonance and good sustain, great for blues and rock, the hard maple sustains for days, making it great for jazz and hard rock.
Two most common configurations:
1. Chambered cherry body with gloss finish, ebony or rosewood, 12-16 inch radius fret board, gold hardware.
2. Maple solid body, gloss finish, black hardware, ebony or maple 12-16 inch fret board.
List Price: $2,600, satin finish,
$2,800 Gloss, case included.
